Foundation.
Elevate was shaped through both study and lived experience.
Over time, I’ve spent years learning how emotionally intelligent, values-driven leadership shapes individuals and organizations. My professional path has required clarity, responsibility, and steady decision-making in complex, high-stakes environments.
At the same time, my personal journey has required resilience. During a pivotal season, I was supported by the right people at the right time—individuals who offered steady guidance, honest perspective, and consistent support. That experience stayed with me. It reinforced something I now carry into this work: growth doesn’t happen in isolation. It requires reflection, structure, and the willingness to let others walk alongside you.
Elevate exists to create that kind of space.
Leadership is not performance—it’s formation. It’s emotional regulation under pressure, values-based decision-making when it matters most, and the discipline to build environments where people can think clearly, contribute fully, and perform at their best.
This work brings those ideas into practice through advisory support, reflective development, and leadership resources designed to cultivate clarity, resilience, and depth.
As always, keep elevating.
Who This Work Is For.
This work is not for me. It is for those willing to engage it. Elevate is designed for individuals and leaders navigating complexity, transition, and growth. It is for those who recognize that how they think, decide, and lead shapes the outcomes they experience.
This is not about having all the answers. It is about developing the awareness, discipline, and perspective to navigate decisions, environments, and challenges with greater depth and intention.
Meet Katelyn.
Experience
Professionally, I managed Department of Energy contracts supporting the U.S. Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, partnering across engineering, finance, and government stakeholders to translate complex requirements of long-running, high-accountability programs into clear, executable decisions. Beyond my formal role, I led a grassroots team of thirty to strengthen mission connection and engagement—an effort recognized by executive leadership and senior government officials.
Athletically, I served as a captain and defensive leader for a professional women’s tackle football organization, where I was recognized as a First-Team All-American. I led team culture, accountability, and preparation in high-performance, resource-constrained environments, while also representing the organization with sponsors through strong relationship stewardship.
Education
My academic work reflects a continued commitment to connecting theory with practice. I am currently a Doctoral Candidate (DBA, Leadership). This builds on a foundation in finance and business, including a Bachelor of Science in Finance, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in management, and executive education focused on leadership, strategy, and decision-making.
Earlier in my development, my time at the United States Military Academy at West Point shaped my perspective on discipline, resilience, and leadership under pressure—principles that continue to inform my work today.
Thought Leadership
This combination of professional experience and academic research led to the development of Elevate, a leadership and growth platform for individuals and organizations navigating complexity, change, and becoming. Elevate explores leadership and human development through a systems lens, integrating research, professional experience, and reflective practice. The work focuses on making complex ideas clear, accessible, and actionable, particularly in environments where clarity, alignment, and sound decision-making matter most.
Philosophy & Point of View
My work is grounded in the belief that leadership is not defined by outcomes alone, but by the systems that produce them. I approach leadership as a design responsibility, shaping how people think, act, and interact within organizations. From this perspective, systems thinking, psychological safety, and strategic alignment are not abstract concepts, but essential components of effective leadership. When systems are intentionally designed, they enable trust, resilience, and sustained performance. When they are not, even strong individuals and teams can struggle to succeed.
