Elevate was shaped through both study and lived experience.

Over the years, I’ve spent a great deal of time learning about leadership, decision-making, human behavior, and what helps people thrive. Professionally, I’ve worked in environments that demanded clarity, accountability, and the ability to navigate complexity with confidence.

At the same time, some of the most meaningful lessons I’ve learned did not come from a classroom or a workplace. They came through difficult seasons that required me to slow down, reflect honestly, and rethink how I approached life.

During one of those seasons, I was fortunate to have the right people around me. They offered perspective when mine was limited, asked thoughtful questions, challenged my assumptions, and helped me see beyond what was directly in front of me. Their support reinforced something I now believe deeply: growth rarely happens in isolation.

We all need space to think. We all need opportunities to reflect. And sometimes, we need people willing to walk alongside us as we work through uncertainty, transition, and change.

Elevate exists to help create that kind of space.

At its core, this work is built on a simple belief: leadership is not about performance. It is about formation. It is about how we think, how we respond under pressure, how we make decisions when the path forward is unclear, and how intentionally we choose to live.

Thank you for being here.

As always, keep elevating.

Who This Work Is For.

If you're navigating change, working through a transition, or simply trying to become more intentional in how you live and lead, this work is for you.

Elevate was created for people who recognize that the way we think influences the way we experience life. Our decisions, relationships, environments, and habits all shape who we become.

This is not about having everything figured out. I certainly don't.

It's about developing greater awareness, thinking more intentionally, and learning how to navigate challenges, decisions, and uncertainty with clarity and purpose. It's about slowing down long enough to reflect, ask better questions, and move forward with greater confidence in who you are and where you're going.

Where This Perspective Comes From

My professional career has largely centered around complex decision-making environments where clarity, accountability, and long-term thinking matter.

Most recently, I supported Department of Energy contracts within the U.S. Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, working across engineering, finance, legal, and government stakeholders. Much of that work involved helping people navigate complexity, align priorities, and make sound decisions in environments where the details mattered and the consequences of getting them wrong mattered even more.

Along the way, I found myself increasingly drawn to the people side of leadership. Beyond my formal responsibilities, I led a grassroots team of employees focused on strengthening mission connection and engagement across the organization. What started as an idea eventually grew into a team of thirty people and gained support from executive leadership and senior government officials.

Outside of my professional career, leadership has also been a significant part of my life through athletics. As a captain and defensive leader for a professional women's tackle football organization, I learned firsthand that leadership is rarely about titles. It is about consistency, accountability, trust, and showing up for people when it matters most.

What Shaped My Thinking

I've always been interested in understanding why people think, behave, and lead the way they do.

That curiosity led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Finance, followed by a Master of Business Administration in Management. Today, I am completing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with a focus on leadership, where my research explores psychological safety, employee voice, and organizational decision-making.

Earlier in my journey, my time at the United States Military Academy at West Point left a lasting impression on how I think about discipline, resilience, service, and leadership under pressure. Many of those lessons continue to influence my work and perspective today.

Why Elevate Exists

Elevate emerged from the intersection of these experiences.

Over time, I realized that many of the challenges people face, whether in leadership, organizations, or life more broadly, often come back to how we think, how we make decisions, and how the environments around us influence both.

Elevate explores ideas in practical and accessible ways. The goal is not to make leadership more complicated. It is to make it more understandable, actionable, and human.

How I Think About Leadership

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: people rarely operate independently of their environment.

The systems we create, the conversations we encourage, the expectations we establish, and the behaviors we reinforce all influence outcomes. Because of that, I view leadership less as a position and more as a design responsibility.

When people are given clarity, trust, psychological safety, and alignment, they are far more likely to contribute, collaborate, and perform at their best. When those conditions are missing, even talented individuals and strong teams can struggle.

That perspective continues to shape how I think, how I lead, and ultimately, what Elevate seeks to help others do as well.

Let’s Continue The Work.

If any of these ideas resonate with you, I encourage you to explore the podcast, browse the resources, or simply reach out and start a conversation.

Whether you're navigating a transition, working through an important decision, or trying to become more intentional in how you live and lead, my hope is that you'll find something here that helps you think more clearly and move forward with greater confidence.

None of us have everything figured out. I certainly don't.

This work has always been about growth, reflection, and becoming. It's about learning, adapting, asking better questions, and continuing to develop over time.

Thank you for being here and being part of the journey.

As always, keep elevating.
